Niche Blogs Make Money

Blogging has become very popular over the last couple of years... and taken a turn from "an online journal" to a powerful marketing strategy for the online business owner.

There is a lot that you can do with a blog, or with an RSS feed. As an online journal (mine being an example) it is a great way to communicate on a more personal level with your target market... and also to reach new people who may be interested in what you do or what you offer.

You can also set up a "product feed" to go along with a product-based site, and use this as an additional method to get quality inbound links and gain exposure.

You can use a blog to syndicate content across the web, to gain a whole new group of "subscribers" and increase your total readership... or just to gain hundreds of new inbound links that are set up specifically for bloggers or those with a 'feed'.

Out of all that, Niche Blogging has become very popular. Word is getting out that people are earning astronomical amounts with their blogs. Check out Darren Rowse or Jason Calacanis. Jason has blogs in a variety of niches - babies, cancer (not related - separate niches) among many others.

Until now, the only way to really accomplish that on a large scale was to hire freelance bloggers to continually update your blogs with fresh unique content. Certainly not a bad business model... but I have to admit, it really got my attention when I was introduced to Gary Huynh's product titled Power Your WordPress . You can read more here.
